Being arrested, charged or summoned by the police is frightening, and what happens in the first hours often shapes the whole case. We act quickly to protect your rights, seek your release on bond or bail, and build a strong defence.

We represent individuals, businesses and public officers in criminal matters before the Magistrates' Courts and the High Court. We also act for complainants and victims who want their interests heard in the process.

Your rights on arrest

The Constitution of Kenya protects every arrested person. Under Article 49 you have the right to be told promptly why you are being held, to remain silent, to communicate with an advocate, and to be brought before a court within 24 hours. You also have the right to be released on bond or bail, on reasonable conditions, unless there are compelling reasons not to release you.

Preparation wins criminal cases

We test the prosecution's evidence carefully — from witness statements to how exhibits were collected and handled — and prepare every hearing thoroughly. Where the evidence is strong, we give honest advice on plea agreements and present strong mitigation.

Discreet and responsive

Criminal matters are sensitive. We handle every case in strict confidence and stay reachable when you need us most, including at the police station.
